Accessibility at Anser

What we check

Before any change goes live, tests check the contrast of every colour palette, light and dark, and at each contrast level you can choose. We also run automated accessibility checks on every main screen, in light and dark, on a computer and a phone. The last full keyboard and screen reader pass was in September 2026.

What you can change

Text size (smaller or bigger), motion, contrast (softer or stronger) and an easier-to-read font, in Settings › Accessibility. Anser also follows your device’s settings: reduced motion, more or less contrast, light or dark, and your browser’s text size and zoom.

What we know isn’t right yet

• At 200% zoom on a laptop-sized window, Anser switches to its phone layout. The calendar shows three days at a time, and with the header and the tab bar only two or three hours of it fit on screen at once (the rest scrolls).
• At 200% zoom on a laptop-sized window, the vision board’s goals and the tab bar cover about the bottom third of the board.
• On the narrowest phones (320 pixels wide), the Today’s page button in each day’s heading on the calendar touches the date beside it.
• The menu that opens on a sticker you’ve placed sits outside the page’s landmarks, so screen reader landmark navigation doesn’t find it (it opens and takes focus from the sticker, so it can still be used).
• At Contrast: Most, text aims for 7:1, but a few small filled markers (today’s date, category pills and profile initials) keep the usual 4.5:1.
• On the phone, the shortest events on the day’s timeline are 24 pixels tall: enough to tap, but under the 44 pixels we aim for.
